Here’s a classic fried salmon patties recipe that never disappoints.
🐟 Fried Salmon Patties
Ingredients
- 1 can (14–15 oz) salmon, drained (remove skin & bones if you want)
- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers
- 2 tbsp onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp parsley (optional but nice)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 2–3 tbsp oil (for frying)
How to Make
- Mix it up
In a bowl, flake the salmon and mix in egg, breadcrumbs, onion, seasonings, and lemon juice. - Form patties
Shape into small patties (don’t make them too thick). - Fry
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry patties 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. - Drain & serve
Remove and drain on paper towels.
