Cuppa Cuppa Cak

Posted on February 6, 2026 by Admin

Ahhh—Cuppa Cuppa Cake 😄
That old-school, measure-it-with-a-cup magic cake. No scales, no stress.

Classic Cuppa Cuppa Cake

Ratio:
👉 1 cup self-raising flour
👉 1 cup sugar
👉 1 cup milk

That’s it. That’s the spell. ✨

How to make it

  1. Mix flour + sugar in a bowl.
  2. Stir in milk until smooth.
  3. Pour into a greased baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350°F / 180°C for ~30–35 minutes
(top should be golden, middle soft).

Optional glow-ups (highly recommended)

  • Add butter pieces on top before baking for richness
  • Sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon
  • Pour over custard or evaporated milk after baking
  • Serve warm with ice cream or cream

Variations

  • Chocolate: replace ¼ cup flour with cocoa powder
  • Spiced: add mixed spice + raisins
  • Coconut: swap half the milk for coconut milk

It’s humble, cozy, and dangerously easy.
Want the microwave version, or the custard-soaked Caribbean-style one? 🍰
