Club sandwich

Say less 😄 here’s a classic, no-nonsense club sandwich recipe—easy, crispy, and very satisfying.

🥪 Classic Club Sandwich

Ingredients (1 sandwich)

  • 3 slices white or sandwich bread
  • 2–3 slices cooked turkey or chicken breast
  • 2–3 strips bacon, cooked crispy
  • 2 slices tomato
  • Lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Butter (optional, for toasting)

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread
    Toast all three slices until golden. Lightly butter if you like extra flavor.
  2. Bottom layer
    • Spread mayo on one slice
    • Add lettuce, tomato, salt & pepper
    • Top with turkey/chicken
  3. Middle layer
    • Take the second slice of toast, spread mayo on both sides
    • Place it mayo-side down on the turkey
    • Add bacon on top
  4. Top layer
    • Spread mayo on the last slice
    • Place it mayo-side down to finish the stack
  5. Finish & serve
    • Press gently
    • Cut into quarters (diagonal looks best)
    • Secure with toothpicks if you’re feeling fancy

Optional upgrades (highly recommended)

  • 🥑 Avocado slices
  • 🍳 Fried egg
  • 🔥 Spicy mayo or Dijon
  • 🧀 Cheddar or Swiss
  • 🍞 Swap bread for sourdough or brioche
