Ingredients (per sandwich)

  • 2 slices of bread (white, wheat, or your favorite)
  • 2–3 slices of bologna
  • 1–2 tsp butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet:
    Place a skillet over medium heat. Add a small amount of butter or leave it dry if you prefer.
  2. Fry the bologna:
    Lay the bologna slices in the skillet. Fry for 2–3 minutes per side until the edges curl slightly and the surface is golden brown. Optional: poke a few holes in the bologna with a fork to prevent curling.
  3. Toast the bread:
    While the bologna is frying, lightly toast the bread in another pan or in the oven. You can also butter the bread before toasting for extra flavor.
  4. Assemble the sandwich:
