Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken

  • 4 tbsp butter (divided)

Instructions

1. Season & Sear Chicken

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken 4–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F).
  4. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.

2. Make Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce

  1. Reduce heat to medium.
  2. Add 2 tbsp butter to the skillet.
  3. Add garlic and sauté 30–45 seconds (don’t burn it).
  4. Stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly reduced.

3. Finish

  1. Stir in remaining 2 tbsp butter until melted and glossy.
  2. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over it.
  3. Simmer 2–3 minutes to coat and reheat.

4. Serve

  • Garnish with parsley and lemon slices.
  • Spoon extra sauce over the chicken.
