Crispy Chicken Pasta Mac Cheese Feast

Posted on April 24, 2026 by Admin

That name is doing a lot of heavy lifting 😄—but the idea is solid: creamy mac & cheese meets crispy chicken for a full-on comfort “feast.” Here’s how to actually make it taste as good as it sounds.

🧀🍗 Crispy Chicken Pasta Mac & Cheese Feast

Ingredients (2–3 servings)

For the pasta:

  • 2 cups macaroni (or any short pasta)
  • Salt (for boiling water)

For the cheese sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup mozzarella (for stretch)
  • Salt, black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of paprika or mustard powder

For the crispy chicken:

  • 2 chicken fillets (cut into strips)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
Boil in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the crispy chicken
    Season chicken.
Coat in flour → dip in egg → coat in breadcrumbs.
Fry until golden and crispy. Set on paper towels.
  3. Prepare cheese sauce
Melt butter, add flour, cook 1–2 minutes.
Slowly whisk in milk until smooth.
Add cheese, stir until melted and creamy.
    Season to taste.
  4. Combine pasta & sauce
Mix cooked pasta into the cheese sauce until fully coated.
  5. Assemble the feast
Serve mac & cheese in a bowl or tray.
    Top with crispy chicken pieces.
  6. Optional upgrade (highly recommended)
    • Sprinkle extra cheese on top
    • Broil/bake 5–10 minutes for a golden cheesy crust

Flavor upgrades

  • Add a drizzle of spicy mayo or chili sauce
  • Toss chicken in buffalo or BBQ sauce before adding
  • Mix in sautéed mushrooms or jalapeños
  • Add a crunchy topping (toasted breadcrumbs + butter)

Quick reality check

This is definitely a treat meal—rich, heavy, and satisfying. If you want a lighter version, you could:

  • Bake or air-fry the chicken instead of deep frying
  • Use less cheese or a lighter milk
  • Add veggies like broccoli to balance it out

If you want, I can turn this into a restaurant-style version, a super quick 20-minute version, or even a desi spicy twist with local flavors.
