Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  1. Preheat oven
    Set to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Layer 1: Strawberry base
    Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in a baking dish.
  3. Layer 2: Cream cheese
    Drop small spoonfuls or chunks of cream cheese over the strawberries.
  4. Layer 3: Cake mix
    Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly on top—don’t mix it.
  5. Layer 4: Butter
    Pour melted butter over the entire surface (try to cover most of it). If using sliced butter, distribute evenly.
  6. Bake
    Bake for 40–50 minutes until the top is golden and edges are bubbling.
