Beef cheese ball

Posted on January 25, 2026 by Admin

Perfect! Here’s a simple and delicious beef cheese ball recipe you can try:

Ingredients (Makes ~6–8 cheese balls)

  • 250g (about ½ lb) ground beef
  • ½ cup grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • ½ small onion, finely chopped
  • 1–2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (plus extra for coating)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for a little heat)
  • 1–2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Oil for frying or brushing if baking

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mixture:
    • In a bowl, combine ground beef, grated cheese, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, and parsley.
    • Mix thoroughly until it’s well combined. You can use your hands (clean!) for even mixing.
  2. Shape the balls:
    • Take a small amount of the mixture (about the size of a golf ball) and roll it into a smooth ball.
    • Optional: Roll each ball in extra breadcrumbs for a crispy exterior.
  3. Cook the cheese balls:
    Option 1 – Frying:

    • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
    • Fry the balls for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and cooked through.

    Option 2 – Baking:

    • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
    • Place the balls on a greased baking tray.
    • Brush lightly with oil.
    • Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Serve:
    • Let them cool for a couple of minutes.
    • Serve with ketchup, mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce.

💡 Tips:

  • You can stuff the center with a small cube of cheese for a gooey surprise.
  • Add finely chopped bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • If you want them spicier, add a pinch of chili flakes or cayenne.

If you want, I can also give a super quick 15-minute version that’s even faster and still cheesy and delicious.

Do you want me to make that version too?
