Here’s a simple and comforting way to make slow cooker cabbage—soft, flavorful, and perfect as a side dish or light meal.


🥬 Slow Cooker Cabbage (Garlic Butter Style)

Ingredients (serves 4–6)

  • 1 medium green cabbage, chopped into chunks
  • 2 tbsp butter (or olive oil)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable or chicken broth
  • Optional: 1 small onion, sliced

Instructions

1. Prep

  • Chop cabbage into wedges or bite-sized pieces.
  • Place in the slow cooker along with onion (if using).

2. Add flavor

  • Sprinkle garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika over the cabbage.
  • Add butter on top and pour in broth.

3. Cook

  • Low: 5–6 hours
  • High: 2–3 hours
  • Stir once or twice if possible.

4. Serve

  • Mix gently and serve warm. Spoon some of the juices over for extra flavor.
