Brown Sugar Pork Chops

Posted on April 3, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a flavorful, slightly sweet recipe for Brown Sugar Pork Chops—juicy, caramelized, and easy to make 🍖:

🍖 Brown Sugar Pork Chops

🔹 Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (1-inch thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • Optional: pinch of cayenne for a hint of heat

🔹 Instructions

1. Prep pork chops

  • Pat pork chops dry with paper towels
  • In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
  • Rub mixture evenly on both sides of the pork chops

2. Cook on stovetop

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat
  • Sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown

3. Finish cooking

  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook 5–7 minutes until pork chops reach internal temp 145°F (63°C)
  • Optional: baste with pan juices for extra flavor

4. Serve

  • Remove from skillet and let rest 3–5 minutes
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice

🔹 Tips

  • For extra caramelization, sprinkle a little brown sugar on top halfway through cooking
  • Use bone-in chops for juicier results
  • Can also bake in oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through

I can also give you a slow cooker brown sugar pork chops recipe that makes them extra tender and saucy without needing to sear first.

Do you want me to do that?
