  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk or water
  • 1–2 cups breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)

1. Prepare the chicken

  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces (1–2 inches).

2. Set up breading station

  • Bowl 1: Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Bowl 2: Beat eggs with milk.
  • Bowl 3: Place breadcrumbs.

3. Coat the chicken

  1. Dredge chicken pieces in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. Dip in the egg mixture.
  3. Coat with breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere.

4. Cook the nuggets

  • Heat ½ inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Fry nuggets in batches 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).
  • Drain on paper towels.

5. Serve

  • Serve hot with ketchup, honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.

  • Extra crispy: Double-dip the chicken (flour → egg → breadcrumbs → egg → breadcrumbs).
  • Baking option: Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway, for a healthier version.
  • Seasoning: Add garlic powder, onion powder, or cayenne to flour or breadcrumbs for extra flavor.
