🍗 Angel Chicken Pasta
Ingredients
- 2–3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Salt & pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet (about 20–25 g) Italian dressing mix
- 1 can (300 g / 10 oz) cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 200 g (7 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ½ tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning
- 450 g (1 lb) angel hair pasta
- Optional: grated Parmesan, red pepper flakes
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the chicken
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice.
2️⃣ Make the sauce
- In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Stir in Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, cream cheese, and herbs.
- Simmer on low, stirring, until smooth and creamy.
3️⃣ Cook the pasta
- Boil angel hair according to package directions (usually 3–4 minutes).
- Drain.
4️⃣ Combine
- Add chicken back to sauce.
- Toss pasta with sauce until coated.
5️⃣ Finish
- Top with Parmesan and a pinch of chili flakes if you like heat.
🔥 Tips & Variations
- Slow cooker version: Cook chicken + sauce on LOW 4–5 hrs, shred chicken, stir in cream cheese at the end
- Lighter: Use half cream cheese, half Greek yogurt
- Add veggies: Spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes
