  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10–12 oz) cream of chicken soup (or homemade)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream or milk
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 450 g (1 lb) gnocchi, fresh or frozen
