Here’s a delicious Brown Sugar Pork Chops recipe—sweet, savory, and perfectly caramelized:

🥩 Brown Sugar Pork Chops

🧾 Ingredients (serves 2–4)

  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (1–1.5 inches thick)
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Optional: 1–2 tsp Dijon mustard or soy sauce for extra flavor

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the pork chops
    • Pat pork chops dry.
    • Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
    • Rub this mixture evenly over both sides of each chop.
  2. Sear the chops
    • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Sear pork chops 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. Finish cooking
    • Reduce heat to medium, cover, and cook 5–7 more minutes (internal temp 63°C / 145°F).
    • Spoon pan juices over chops for extra flavor.
  4. Serve
    • Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a salad.

🔥 Tips & Variations

  • Extra caramelization: Sprinkle a bit more brown sugar during cooking.
  • Tangy twist: Add 1 tsp Dijon mustard or a splash of apple cider vinegar.
  • Spicy-sweet: Add a pinch of cayenne or chili powder to the rub.
  • Oven option: After searing, bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes for thicker chops.

I can also give you a slow cooker version that’s extra tender and saucy if you want.
