Blueberry Greek Yogurt Fritters

Posted on March 23, 2026 by Admin

Blueberry Greek Yogurt Fritters are soft, fluffy, lightly crispy bites packed with juicy blueberries and a slight tang from Greek yogurt—perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.

🫐 Blueberry Greek Yogurt Fritters Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • Oil (for frying)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients:
In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Mix wet ingredients:
In another bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Combine:
Add wet ingredients to dry and mix gently until just combined.
  4. Fold in blueberries:
Be careful not to crush them too much.
  5. Heat oil:
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry fritters:
Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil and fry until golden brown (about 2–3 minutes per side).
  7. Drain:
Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

🍯 Optional Toppings:

  • Dust with powdered sugar
  • Drizzle with honey or maple syrup
  • Add a simple glaze (icing sugar + milk + vanilla)

💡 Tips:

  • Don’t overcrowd the pan
  • Keep heat medium so they cook through without burning
  • If using frozen blueberries, don’t thaw (prevents color bleeding)

If you want, I can give you a baked (healthier) version, air fryer method, or no-egg recipe 😊
